Sonia, a black woman with short hair, wearing a grey, loose-knit jumper, sits at a desk covered with papers. Opposite her sits Jo, an Asian woman with dark, shoulder-length hair wearing a green cardigan. The two smile at each other.

Sonia Hughes and Jo Fong are interested in uncertainty.

The artist duo will arrive in Ipswich to create a live, interactive conversation based on their experiences in the town. The thing is - they don’t quite know how they’re doing that yet. Jo has ideas but Sonia’s not so sure. How to disagree?

They will be speaking to a panel of women with opinions, discussing the nature of disagreement and ambiguity.

They tell us we could expect:
Loose Women but minus the Marks & Spencers vibe
A mix of Gardener’s Question Time and the other Question Time
Karaoke but without any lyrical prompts
All or none of the above

If you want to take a chance and experience a live event about not-quite-knowing, join us for this work-in-progress from Sonia and Jo.

Think Tank Live events start with a performance or presentation from our featured artist, followed by a Q&A session hosted by our Artistic Director, Robin Deacon. Stick around afterwards for drinks and chat.
