Terminal is an ongoing investigation into tension, loss and relief. The performance will be an elemental struggle between car, tree and the body.
Colm Clarke is an artist based in Belfast and has exhibited both locally and internationally with his performance/installations recently featured in LUPA (London), MPA (Berlin), Ars Electronica (Linz), PLAP (Lublin), La Station (Nice), amongst others. Clarke currently sits on the board of Bbeyond and is a committee member of Queen Street Studios.
His performance work is concerned with ecology, resonance, vibration and the aesthetics of power structures. His collaborative projects (WAB, starewars, MOOK) utilise strategies of participation and humour to critically question historical and contextual possibilities of artistic endeavour and representation.
