SPILL Salon 3: On Death And Dying

Sat 01 Nov 2014

Ipswich Art School Gallery

Chaired by Hugh Whittall.

Our lives are framed by death as the ultimate surrender. But by what means, if any, might we retain some agency over the process of dying? Some people call for greater freedoms around our individual exits, whilst others feel that makes us all more vulnerable. Chaired by Hugh Whittall, Director of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics, this public conversation also includes contributions from artist Jo Bannon, and End of Life Care Educator Martin Russell from St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich.
