Also don’t miss the opportunity to see Hrafnhildur Benediktsdóttir durational performance of Preparation Decoration; or catch the SPILL Tarot exhibition and have your own tarot reading with Diana Taylor.
Guizo LaNuit is a bonvivant, gadabout and professional international playboy. Once a prominent player in Gianni Versace’s entourage, he went on to be one of Karl Lagerfeld’s principal beverage consultants. After travelling the world many times over with Romanian rock gods, Vårf Dirijabl, Guizo settled down in Montreal with his then-wife, Marielyne. He is divorced and tours lesbian bars and nursing homes with his philosophical musical stylings.
Diana Taylor has 16 years of experience in the tradition of Hermetic Tarot, and is based in Central London where she is available for consultations and teaching. She performed the very first divination with the SPILL deck upon its launch in 2008, and has been working with the deck constantly and rewardingly ever since.
Drew Taylor makes live art with a poet’s beating heart: his textual exploration has seen him appear from Brighton to London to Aberdeen, seen and adored by cabaretic performance-poetic and theatric audiences alike.
Penny Arcade climbed out of her bedroom window at age thirteen to join the fabulously disenfranchised worlds of queers, junkies, stars and geniuses. By the age of 20 she had become a darling of Andy Warhol’s Factory and the pop-art world and is now, still, one of the most influential performers in the world.
Hrafnhildur Benediktsdóttir is an artist from Iceland, based in London. She recently completed her Master of Arts in The Body in Performance, at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She has collaborated and performed with Kira O’Reilly, Xavier Le Roy, Mårten Spangberg and the famous Lauren Barri Holstein. She has presented her ‘Preparation’ series, at various festivals and exhibitions in the UK, Germany and Spain, the latest one being the Fresh AiR platform at Queen Mary University of London.
La Horrox is a live artist who composes audio led surrealist stylized performance. Through live-art she explores the unconscious, experimenting with nonsensical voice and sound, characterisation, spatial design, and exploration of the body. Since being a member of AGN, a London based post-punk improvisational noize group, she has been creating live-art, sound art, costume and sculpture.
Sharon Smith and Tom Parkinson
Founder member of Max Factory (UK), member of Gob Squad (Berlin) and collaborator with Magpie improvisation collective (Amsterdam), Sharon Smith is a performance artist and writer. Over the last decade Tom Parkinson has developed a practice as an independent composer and musician working primarily in an interdisciplinary context. Together, Smith and Parkinson are working across a range of media with several parallel projects including, film, text, recording, installation, photography, music and theatre.
