Pink Suits (UK)

22:30 // 60 mins // £10 double bill with Julie Rose Bower
political child is pink suits’ first full‑length work exploring fantasy, sexuality and gender identity.
A late‑onset teen angst rebellion against binary gender expectations. The show contains music from pink suits debut album, to be recorded late 2018, in a performance experiment that blurs the line between live music gig and dance theatre. It is an exploration of the gendered body. A gender‑fuck scream of frustration. They share the space, share clothes and share stories of youthful fantasy.
pink suits are a Poli‑Rock (aggressive/genderfuck/political rock) duo creating experimental performance. As a band they create political rock music as well as dance, physical theatre and film. Their work explores fantasy, mental health, politics, and activism.
pink suits current work is made with support from PanicLab Ltd, Camden Peoples Theatre, Chisenhale Dance Space, Margate Arts Club, Tom Thumb Theatre Margate, Cliffs Café Margate and is funded by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
