Sikarnt Skoolisariyaporn (Thailand/UK)
Fri 31 Oct 2014
Through live action and sound, a group of musicians re-interpret fragments of alphabetical music scores extracted from historical archives from the 1965 mass-killing in Indonesia.
The work re-investigates the way history could be understood and interpreted, and explores how alternative dimensions of reality are created through collisions of fragments of information. The performance explores a relation between past and present, and reconciliation between information and vibration.
Sikarnt Skoolisariyaporn is a Thai artist, living and working in London. She is interested in re-investigating perceptions towards live events and their remainder in the present day. Sikarnt has been exhibited and performed across the UK, Germany and Italy. She is currently completing her MFA at Goldsmiths.
In collaboration with Elektryza band (UK)
