IT’S SCARY ISN’T IT, THAT FEELING, YOU ARE FEELING, YOU’RE ACTUALLY FEELING, SOMETHING, ANYTHING, THAT REMINDS YOU OF THAT FACT, THAT YOU ARE IN FACT, HUMAN.
Breathe (Everything Is Going To Be Okay) is a full body immersion of soaring strings and spiralling sound in a daringly vulnerable solo performance exploring the relationship between our bodies and minds. Blending visceral music with intimate confessions, Breathe is an unflinchingly honest examination of how we find the strength to keep going, and why.
Alicia Jane Turner is a London based composer, performance artist and multi-instrumentalist working within live art, theatre and contemporary classical music. Her work focuses on aggressive intimacy and vulnerability, and explores the physicality of immersive live sound within performance.
